Documents shipped with every order

• Commercial invoice and packing list.
• Certificate of analysis for the batch and safety data sheet.
• IFRA conformity statement for the fragrance.
• EU cosmetic compliance documentation and CLP label artwork, UFI code and PCN notification.
• Certificate of origin (chamber of commerce) on request, and EUR.1 or invoice declaration where a preferential agreement applies.
• Dangerous goods declaration for alcohol based products shipped by air or sea.

Requirements by market

• Saudi Arabia: Saber platform registration with a product certificate of conformity and a shipment certificate; SASO standards; Arabic labelling of product name, contents and importer.
• UAE and the rest of the GCC: importer registration, Arabic and English labelling, conformity certificates depending on the emirate and the channel.
• China: import through a registered local importer, Chinese label, NMPA filing for cosmetics carried out by the importer with the technical file we supply.
• United States: FDA cosmetic facility registration and product listing under MoCRA, INCI ingredient labelling in English, fire safety data for candles.

Shipping alcohol based fragrance

Eau de parfum and extrait are class 3 flammable liquids. We pack and declare them correctly for air freight in limited quantity, or ship by sea for larger volumes. Candles, diffusers and water based room sprays are not restricted in the same way and travel as ordinary goods.

Formula, confidentiality and exclusivity

A bespoke formula developed for you stays yours: we do not sell it to another client and we sign an NDA before receiving your brief. We do not copy protected commercial fragrances; we develop an original scent along the direction you describe.

Payment, currency and terms

• Invoicing in euro by bank transfer; sampling is paid up front and deducted from the production invoice.
• 50% deposit on order confirmation, balance before shipment, unless agreed otherwise in writing.
• Italian VAT is zero rated on exports outside the EU and under the reverse charge for EU customers with a valid VIES number.
